💷 Pay: £31,200 – £37,440 per hour (depending on experience)

✅ Experience setting and operating CNC Milling and Turning machines
✅ Proficient in programming CNC machinery using SolidWorks and CAD software
✅ Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances

⏰ Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30–16:30 | Friday 07:30–12:30

About the Role

This is your chance to join a forward-thinking engineering business based in Elland, where precision, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship drive everything they do. As a CNC Setter, you’ll be working on a variety of bespoke components (mainly aluminium) using state-of-the-art equipment. You’ll set, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality, accurate parts — every time.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Program CNC Milling and Turning machines using SolidWorks and CAD software
🔹 Set up and operate machines to meet production specifications
🔹 Monitor operations and carry out quality checks on finished components
🔹 Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery
🔹 Collaborate closely with engineers to refine and improve machining processes

Desirable Skills

✨ Experience with Haas and Mazak machines
✨ Knowledge of logic controllers and tooling
✨ Familiarity with precision aluminium machining
